Dr. Gaurab Bhaduri is a Consultant in the Department of Diabetes & Endocrinology with more than fifteen years of clinical, research and teaching experience in the field.
He holds an MD in Internal Medicine and advanced postgraduate qualifications from the Royal College of Physicians, UK — including the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Endocrinology and Diabetes, a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Endocrinology and Diabetes, and a Certification in Diabetes Management. This is complemented by SCOPE certification in Obesity Management from the World Obesity Federation.
He has been awarded the international Lionel Opie Fellowship (London, UK), the Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians, and the Fellowship of Diabetes India.
Dr. Bhaduri currently serves as Consultant in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes across multiple Apollo Sugar Clinics in Kolkata. Previously he served as Consultant at Medica Superspeciality Hospital and ILS Hospital, where he played a key role in establishing comprehensive diabetes and endocrine services.
His academic portfolio includes peer-reviewed publications in international journals, authorship of the book Lipids & Diabetes: The Love-Hate Story, book chapters in clinical medicine and diabetology, and faculty lectures at leading national and international conferences — including the International Diabetes Federation (IDF) 2025 and the International Conference on Advancing Women's Health 2025. He is an invited speaker on AI in diabetes, novel incretin therapies, and obesity and women's health.
