Privacy Policy
What happens to
what you send.
A short, plain description of how enquiry information is handled.
Who this applies to
This policy covers the website at drgaurabbhaduri.com, operated on behalf of Dr. Gaurab Bhaduri, Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology, Kolkata, West Bengal, India.
What is collected
The consultation enquiry form asks for your name, phone number, email address, preferred consultation location, area of concern, an optional preferred date and an optional message. Nothing else is requested.
The form does not transmit your details to a server on this website. When you submit it, your own email application opens with the details you entered, and you choose whether to send that message. Until you press send in your email application, the information stays on your device.
What it is used for
- Responding to your enquiry and arranging a consultation appointment.
- Contacting you about that appointment, including any change to it.
Your details are not sold, rented, or used for marketing, and are not shared with third parties except where required to arrange your appointment at a hospital or clinic, or where disclosure is required by law.
Please do not send sensitive information
The enquiry form is for arranging an appointment. Please do not use it to send detailed medical records, scan images, government identification numbers, insurance policy numbers or payment details. Email and messaging apps are not secure channels for that kind of information — bring it to your consultation instead.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. No cookie consent banner is shown because there is nothing to consent to.
Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. When your browser requests those font files, Google receives your IP address as part of that request, in the same way as any other request to an external server. No other third-party service is contacted by these pages.
External links
Publication entries link to publishers' records via DOI, and contact options link to WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy policies, over which this website has no control.
Retention
Enquiry emails you choose to send are retained for as long as needed to arrange and follow up your appointment, and thereafter in line with normal medical record-keeping obligations.
Your requests
To ask what enquiry correspondence is held about you, or to ask for it to be corrected or deleted, write to dr.bhaduri@yahoo.com. Clinical records held by a hospital or clinic are governed by that institution's own policy and should be requested from them.
Changes
Any change to this policy will be published on this page.
